At the keynote speech during the World of Watson 2016 conference (Oct. 24-28, Las Vegas) IBM chief executive officer (CEO) Ginni Rometty invited General Motors (GM) CEO Mary Barra to jointly announce that IBM's augmented intelligence (AI) called Watson would be integrated with every new car equipped with OnStar connectivity (renamed OnStar-Go). The U.S. Secretary of Education also endorsed Watson.
